Core Logic research is showing that the outer suburbs have the highest growth - with 80% these suburbs showing price growth.

While for inner city suburbs, 74% of suburbs have shown falls in property prices.

Interest rate falls expected in late 2025 should put heat back into the market

Experts are predicting reductions in interest rates (up to 0.5%), and this could give the market a kick, and we see prices increasing again. The market can react fast, so if you’re thinking of investing, start getting your finances and approvals ready so you can move fast.

Overall, the market predicted to grow 1% to 4%

Listings are expected to increase in 2025, but experts are predicting modest growth given the 2 speed nature of the market.

Investor housing still strong

With 850,000 new residents arriving in the next 10 years, and low vacancy rates the investor market is looking good to provide attractive rental yields.
